Heather Malfunction (Need Help)
Hey.
I got 2001 C320. Recently i noticed that my heater blows hot air only when i am driving. In idle position air gets colder and as soon as i step on the gas pedal it starts to blow a hot air again. All climate control's functions are working properly. My mechanic changed the thermostat and flushed the heater radiator, but the problem still exist. Can anyone please help me? Any ideas? Any suggestions? I'll greatly appreciate any help.

Check your auxiliary coolant pump. If you put the vehicle in run and turn the heat on without the engine running (or if you have REST which I think you do) you should hear that pump running. If not it is probably shot or has a bad connection.
