29k - sunroof motor broken and wont retract the roof after opened
32k - replaced tires again
36k - steering wheel buttons no longer will light up and one side no longer functions at all, cup holder breaks
38k - replaced tires again, found out car cannot maintain an alignment
45k - front brakes have burned completely through.

2003 C230K Coupe Orion Blue
In the last 4 years I've had a whole ton of minor things (ie components that wouldn't leave you stranded) fail, all fixed out of warranty. The car was in the shop maybe 25 times by my estimation. I bought the extended warranty (extra 2 years) out of fear, and didn't even need to use it once. MB made all their money back.

Yes we do exist.
There's a small inner circle floating around a secret area of the forum, but you have to be an owner first, then sacrifice a goat as well as a BMW effigy. be sure to bleed the goat into a crystal decanter..
Leave the poor goat alone and put down the knife.
We're around, but our numbers are definitely dwindling. They're no longer sold in Canada/USA unfortunately.
I'm not sure why everyone bashes the M271. Maybe it's just from having nothing but domestics for the last 25 years in the family, but it's by FAR the most reliable engine we've ever had. Sure it's a tad underpowered (189hp) for a track day or ripping around in the summer but the fuel efficiency more than makes up for it. I like getting 560-600km a tank, and it's got more than enough juice for daily driving. And if you're slow, you can WOT the car trying to catch up to your 300hp buddies.![Stick Out Tongue](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
As for the shape, if I were to do it again, I'd still take the coupe over the sedan in a second (no offense guys!
) You do have to get bi-xenons though; that completely changes the look of the car.

Congrats HKirov! Your 2002 Coupe was already very well modded with AMG coupey bumper and BIX. Now, you've finally added the CLC hood, grille, front bumper, headlights, fenders, side mirrors, tailgate, tailights, rear bumper,... did I miss anything??? Likely the exhaust system and probably some internal parts too.

Are you going to paint the blue side panels black to match the CLC parts? Or will you paint the black CLC parts blue to match your original blue coupey?
Can't wait to see your "CLC" on the streets of Toronto! After seeing your "CLC" on the streets of Toronto, I wonder how folks will be running to the local Mercedes-Benz dealerships asking to test drive the new CLC???

Those folks will be telling the Mercedes-Benz salespeople that the CLC is already on the streets here in Canada! ![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
