Any people on here that have performed an installation of aftermarket bucket seats into their cars? If , so chime in, i am eyeing a set of seats, will sparco brackets work as universal with different companies seats?

My Recaro (and others I've seen here) uses a dedicated Recaro bracket that works perfectly.

To answer your question directly, my guess would be maybe. But I'd suggest trying to get the correct bracket for that exact seat before trying to Frankenstein something out of two different companies. Also, check Wedge Engineering - they have many different brackets that fit many different combinations of aftermarket seats with OEM floorpans - they might be able to help.

Basically, im trying to mount a NRG carbon fiber seat , but nrg doesnt make a bracket for our cars, the seats come with side plates though. Wedge never responded to my 3 emails i sent them , and i noticed that recaro makes a universal bracket , which is the closest possibility of making this whole equation work .

these seats are too nicely done, and sooo lightweight.....not to mention the exposed carbon fiber complements my exterior carbon fiber pieces. they will be in my car , one way or another :P
