Those lights look great, just like mine do and you did not have to buy a 2003 to get them. The auto-levelers are cool when you actually notice them but that is about it.

That leads to a question: SL - do the autolevelers work on your car?

You need to change those city lights to something more consistent with the bi-xens.

The C4 option on a 2002 was headlamp washers and heated seats. The C4 option on the 2003 models is headlamp washers and Bi-Xenons. That is how you can have headlamp washers and no Xenon.

I ordered the C2 and C4 packages but because my car was so early, it was built with the 2002 options using 2003 parts.
Make sense?

NO, because the non xenon cars do not come from factory with the levelling sensors, wiring and control unit...

Silver_Lana,

Sorry I did not realize you had a 2003. So for my last post I will need to add that the early 2003's had the C4 package the same as the 2002's with the heated seats and washers... Then if you ordered after October of 2002 your car might have gotten Bi-Xenons, I think the date was Ocotober 31st was when they started building with the Bi-Xenon C4 option. My car got to the US at the end of December so mine had it on them when the dealer ordered it.

You are forgiven this time.
Next time i will have to send the Model Year police after you...
The funny thing about this is that my car ends up being some wierd hybrid between 2002 and 2003.
Funky!

Yeah it is wierd that in the brochure it stated one thing but when ordering or buying or heck even them building them after the model year change were all very diferent. It seems like it was a crapshoot to see what you may get. Even my 2003 C230 SC is diferent from the early 2003's. I have the 1.8 badge the seat belt extenders and the Bi-Xenons on mine. Where I have seen others without these things but the same options I got. It is all the luck of the draw I guess and I wanted the Bi-Xenons so I waited to get mine. Although I did want to order mine, but they found one exactly the way I wanted it sitting at the docks in Baltimore. Some dealer actually ordered my car for stock with all those options and a stick. I never thought anyone would want all the stuff I have for a stock item.

So, forgive my stupidity, but how do you level the lights then if your car didn't have xenons? Are there screws to level them built into the bi-xenons? Now I'm even more confused.

SL, it's only fitting that your car is screwed-up. Sounds like the perfect match. :p

Bi-Xenons

My build date was 12/02. Came with Bi-Xenons already factory installed.
Just picked up my car on 03/31/03. Drove from the dealership out to
Clifton, NJ (16 miles) for it's first drive. Loved the lighting effects of the
Bi-Xenons!
