newb: woohoo just bought a c200k
Hi guys,
ive just joined. just Purchased a 2007 c200k se in black, with a 6 speed manual!!! ;-) only done 21000 miles...looks and drives great. pick it up next tues! woohooo cant wait.
im already looking at replacing the standard 16" rims for these:
they are 18" 8j et44
can some one tell me if these will fit ok. I am looking at fitting 225 40 tyres on the front and 255 35 on the rear but i am not sure if the 8j rears will take 255 tyres? if so will i clear the fender with et44?

well the car was made and first registered in dec 2007. As far as im aware the w204 was available in the uk since sept 2007. But if you want me to say its a 2008 model to avoid further confusion thats fine too ;-)

yeah there are two dates usually. like my dads 06 slk 55 amg. it was built november 05 but was an 06 model year. remember most car manufactures start releasing next year cars mounths before it is officaly that year. if you look at your ownsers manual or any documenatino it will say 2008 not 2007 except for the buid date.
