225/35 in the Front and 255/30 in the Rear without any rubbing issues. But then again I am pretty low so maybe those tire sizes you provided will work for you. I was actually told by my local shop that specializes in MB's that these are the tire sizes I should be running...

They wear great because of the high silica content in the rubber. I think their treadwear rating is 380 or so.
They do have some sidewall flex as opposed to other tires, but still handle very well.
They are a great rain tire.
Keep your air pressure in the 35 lbs range to get the best of cornering and mph.
The set I ran on my other MB were staggered like yours, (18's- 225's/255's) but I did rotate the tires from rim to rim and side to side every 10k to keep the wear even and I got almost 40k out of them.
I found that if the wear gets uneven they have a tendency to get really loud with additional miles, so keep everything even if possible.
