Haha....agreed....but maybe someone else with a coupe has done the exact same mod...

these thing are very funny. you could have two 02 c230 coupes and it work in one but not the other so even if someone with the same year as you used the same unit in there car it might not work for you.

The units are completely random so if you really want it then you're going to have to do it trial and error just like everyone else.

It will not work on the C230. Different shape.

It is fully functional from what I was told from the previous buyer. No pics with it turned on because it was never installed.

Look at the shape of the unit in the pic I posted in the first post. Then look at this pic.

nice dude that is a face lifted one not a coupe one it fits all 05-07.
the one you have will fit all 01-04 sedans and coupes.
now if it works in your car that is another issue.

I am not pissed because I am incorrect. Where did I come off cocky? By posting two different pictures? To me, when someone just use's smiles to answer in a reply and uses the word "WOW", it makes the other person feel stupid.

were you referring to my statement? i didn't mean your car i meant what we talked about earlier with the units being a hit or miss in everyone's car.

I don't know what I am talking about any more.

I have been wanting to get one for my ca.r But, because of it being hit or miss like you said I have been stalling.

To bad my friend just turned in his car. Or else I could have tried this unit in his.

Are the connections the same on the face lifted cars? I could try and connect this unit to my car just for the hell of it.

i think i heard the conection are the same becase some members were changing there center consoles out with facelifted ones. i bet you could fine a pic online somewhere of the back of the new units and compare it to the one you have.

Try selling to local people only..so they can try it out before buying.

I would say that's unrealistic. Anyone buying this would just have to know that it's hit or miss, just like when they buy them from Steve.

It's only $100 (or less); if it doesn't work, you just lost 4 lapdances, no biggie.

No, I don't mean if it will work in a certain car or not. I mean without knowing if the unit is even functional. As the OP stated, he hasnt had any personal experience with it to know if it works or not. Would you buy this unit for $100 if the seller cannot guarantee that the unit if functional? Id rather get my 4 lapdances...
