Talk about luck, good or bad...
Yesterday, in downtown Washington, D.C., a lawyer (!) was driving on a major thoroughfare near a construction site. As he passed by, he heard shouting and before he knew it, a 13-foot steel beam crashed through his rear window just behind the driver's seat. He happened to be driving a 1997 MB E420. The event was on the evening news and in this morning's Washington Post.
They were saying he was the luckiest guy around yesterday. That's probably true, but he would have been even luckier if the beam missed his MB altogether. I'll bet he'll be driving around in a new S-Class before long.
