Hey everybody,
I've tried searching for comments on this characteristic but kept finding the wrong thing. What I am referring to is the lackadaisical or lazy response of the engine and/or transmission to throttle inputs. Let me make this clear now. This is NOT the same as the hesitation many of you have experience when you carpet the accelerator pedal and nothing happens. I would describe it as a less agressive throttle when compared to BMW or Infiniti. My question is; with the adaptive transmission, does this initial laziness go away once the car learns you mean business every time you change the angle of the accelerator pedal? I hope I'm being clear enough, please let me know if I'm not.
