Remote radar detector installation?
Some guy with an SLK mounted it in front of his grill:

Unless you're from DC/VA area... get a V1, mount above right side of mirror.
Run remote display cable across liner down driver-side A pillar and put it there.
Can't be seen from outside.
So has anyone done a stealth install of the V1 in their C? Here are some examples on other cars like BMW's and Audi's:

The cordless ones preserve power by only "searching" for radar signals a small percentage of the time...so just a rough explanation, lets say a typical radar sends out signals+ looks for radar 30 times per minute, a cordless will only look say, 5 or 10 times per minute....not such a good thing on the surface, reducing time to respond to a radar threat.
Aside from that, that BMW installation is quite nice...I wonder if there is one like it for a Benz? I've already pondered installing a unit somewhere and having the controller for it located where the ashtray goes up front hidden under that flip door. We'll see!

Shifters are in the grill and the Radar detector is atached near the hood lock! but the SRX isnt that good the K40 Laser Defuser is the best it says "Error" on the gun insted of "Blocked"....and by the way the escort blocker is illigal in cali, virginia, and someother states...so if u can look up the K40!
