Figured I'd post a few pics of my car since it's one of MB's rarest color and was actually removed in 2004... enjoy

Debadged 6-Speed '05 C320 Sports Coupe
Nice color, nice ride. It looks clean w/o the model designation. Why not also remove the dealership plate frame?
The rear amber bulbs may be replaced with silver bulbs, that illuminate amber, as shown in this post.
Your friends house is okay. It attracts nice vehicles.

The plate I'm keeping for now since I need it to hold a rubber piece around my license plate, when I had my plate changed they used c230k rivets and screws which cracked my trunk, never noticed until I saw rust around the license plate lights, I'm waiting for MB to replace my trunk, it's all rusted inside, they're putting a new one in on october 4th...

it PROBABLY would look better. Are there a lot of C270 CDI's around where you live??
To us Americans, it's all a novelty, so I would leave the badging on. Most people are probably asking, "what's a C270 CDI"? But if you want to stand out from a crowd, then debadging is always nice to give the car a "clean" look. You may also want to get a Flat-Hood badge up front to replace the stand-up Mercedes star. With an European car, you already have the front rub strips without the American orange side-marker. So that looks good ! Other suggestions would be:
UK-spec Bi-Xenon lights, MY'05 C-class or E-class mirror blinkers, and tinted windows.

Mercedes C270 CDI (2003 UK Spec)
well if you look in the last picture, accross the road u can see another C Class saloon hehe, thats a C220 CDI though, yes i have indeed thought about getting a flat top badge for the front, as the stand up ones get regularly stolen by pesky little kids, well i do plan on doing numerous mods to the car, was thinking some nice alloys dual exhausts etc etc, however need to start working again as im only 19 hehe

Guess it's time for me to Pony Up....
Greetings all.... I've been lurking in this wonderful forum for a few months now, greatly benefiting from all of your wonderful knowledge and anecdotes. Thought it was about time i share my baby... Hope this works, can't seem to get a preview of the attachments.
Purchased 2 months ago, she is an '03 with the C2, C5, C7 packages (atleast that's what i was told, have no idea what those designations are)
So far it's been a Love affair... I refer to her as 'Mistress' and she commands me..! :v

welcome! C2 and C5 package doesnt make sense. I have C1(power/memory seats), C4 (Bi-Xenon Lights), C5 (Premium Package Pano Roof, Leather Seats, Bose, Rainsening wipers, auto dimming mirrors), and C7 Wheel package (17" 7 spoke wheels, aluminum pedals, short throw sifter, color keyed door handles). C2 package is (Pano Roof, Rain Sensing Wipers and Auto Dimmin Mirror) i believe. if i remember right you cant get C2 and C5 together, one or the other because C5 has more options than C2. If you dont have Bose, then you may have the C2 with leather seat option. but then wont have C5. Welcome aboard. looks like you have an 02 or early 03 because there is no wind buffet thing on the front deflector panel. is you engine 1.8 or 2.3. does it have red on the top and say kompressor. if so it an 02 with a 2.3L. if not then it an 03 with a 1.8L

Hi Citron! Was hoping you would be the 1st response... it is a 1.8L/'03 build date is the last qtr. of '02. Thanks for the clarification on the designations, looks as if i have the C5 and C7 (would love the C4). Does the Auto with Triptronic fall under any of these? Interesting device, takes a bit of getting used to though. Coincidently, i now have the little pano wind buffet thngy... I took the car in for a sticky pano cover and they contacted me the next day saying the whole roof was squeaking. They ended up replacing all of it, front to back. Gotta love that warranty. Now if i can just nail down the occasional speaker problem i'm having....

no Auto Trans does not fall under an option package, it is an individual option. you can usually count on me to be one of the first responses as im always reading the threads. the option packages for the C-coupe for 03 were: C1 (Power/Memory Seats, Convenience package), C2 (Pano-Roof, Rain-sensing Wipers, Auto Dimming Mirrors), C4 (B-Xenon Lights, Auto Leveling, Headlamp washers), C5 (Premium Package: Leather, Bose, Rain sensing wipers, auto dimming mirrors, pano roof), C7 (Wheel package: 17" wheels, color keyed door handle, aluminum pedals, patterened door silss, short throw manual transmission). individual options were auto trans, COMAND, phone, Leather seats, heated seats, etc. there are more just dont have them all off the top of my head. the auto trans is nice, though i prefer my manual. ive had a couple auto loaners and they are nice. yes you do have to love the waranty!

Yes..., would have prefered the stick myself.... but the Triptronic is a nice compromise. Pretty much keep it in auto in the city and drop it down to "Trip" in the countryside. So what is the difference between premium leather and the leather seats (individual option)? Also, i have a speaker that sounds blown every now and then but it's not consistant. It's so irritating to take it in and not be able to duplicate the problem!!! Wish it would just quit altogether...
