Too played out and too many clowns asking "what does Kompressor mean" LOL!!

Plus I have a custom shop and we have many emblems laying around from debadging and overstock and what not and she wanted something different.

The rear emblem is from the Cadillac CTS-V and the other 3 are from a Cobalt SS.

ok, the font on the rear looks like a Ford 500 badge.
plus advertising that it's supercharged will just get those clowns to try and race u or your wife. they may not know what kompressor means but they will surely know supercharged and start revving their engines at the stoplight.

I wouldn't say it's "played out" when that's how it comes from the factory.

So what if they rev their engines. If they beat her (which they will in that slowpoke) then she will just come home and get the Supercharged Lincoln, no biggie. Alot of emblems look like other emblems both font and style wise. Ford must have copied Caddy then because their font style was out before the 500 was.

i already praised you for your ride on your other thread, but I only just noticed the headlights. halogens are decent, but i've always liked HID's. Still curious why Mercedes, the so called high-end car doesn't have HID in all their cars. Without forking up $150 for a set, you can get Sylvania silver stars halogens for $50 a pair. There's some other competitive ones that have a whiter look that might be a bit nicer.

I agree 100% and dont get it! I went down to the dealership to mess with them due to a ****ty expirience that happened with them after purchasing my car...got a free C55 spoiler but wanted the Bi-xenons as well...I guess a little too much to ask for...buuut anyways....I installed Sylvania lights right away...and for some reason in those pics...it doesnt look like it! I spent $80 for all my lights and see nothing!

I think I'm just going to convert to an HID set
......how does that compare to the Bi-Xenons from the factory???

I've installed aftermarket HID's on a Rav4 and it looks great, but obviously doesn't cover as much ground as a stock kit. The HID lighting in a halogen headlamp is not ideal b/c it doesn't scatter light the way it's supposed to. It's a cheaper alternative than replacing the whole unit though. I'm sure you can use the HID kit for both the current setup and projector headlamps if you decide to use them later.

Noobie Post, pics

Hello Everyone, this is my first post here. I have been checking out the forum for a couple of weeks.
This site has been great, lots of useful information. I traded in my BMW 328i for this 04 c230.

Anyway here are some pics of my (new to me) car. and my significant others

I let the M3 and the R6 take care of the power needs,
both the M3 and the 328 had manual transmision so i wanted to take brake from that too, guess i'm geting old.

Anyway i love the way the c230 rides, its smooth and tend to drive it slow enjoying the music oposed to my other vehicles.

this is a pic of my ex.
