How many miles on your car? Have you replaced the fuel filter yet?

Why 'disable the lamda probes'....just curious. My guess is fuel pump. Some of the early C class had fuel pump problems that showed up as shaky idle and motor dying with no error codes. Does it just die or gradually lose power and then die?

lamda probes showed open circuit - so i just tried it ------not fuel pump as this only happen maybe once in 6 months - it is now more than a month since the last time it happened. it loses power gradually and then die - can be restarted immediatly again
