W203 Lowering Question's... (used search button)
Vehicle info: 2004.5/05 C230 Kompressor Sedan.
After searching through the Suspension thread I fould a couple parts to my question but some people didn't answer this for certain so...
Question 1: From the factory are my rear Spring Perches 2,3, or 4s???
From what i read in that thread one person said they are 2's. I want to verify for sure..
Question 2: I have 18x8.5 with 245-35-18's And want that wheel gap to be minimal to none in the rear. (I bought the H&R Springs) What perch form your experience makes this happen.?
thanks in advance....

when i put on my H&Rs, i had the #3 springs pads for the rear, our fronts dont use springs pads.
H&Rs def closed the ridiculous gap that my C32 had before, and im still rolling on 17s.
and made the "rake" look even more aggressive! which i like!
although...now im considering cutting a full coil off the front, to make the front end a lil bit more closer to the ground.
Ur 18s would look really good with H&Rs.
JUST NOTE, when lowering, all wheels will be cambered negatively, and you will obviously need an alignment, BUT the rear axles' Camber will not be fixed, up until u get adjustable camber arms!
STOCK Camber arms are not adjustable unfortunately...or atleast only to a slim extent, but you'd still have a ridiculous neg camber from lowering..
u should contackt GLK4matic (Jay) @ myMB. he fabricates adjustable camber arms. hes the owner of MB Arts.

how u can tell is that when u remove the springs pads, it will have 3 things at the top tip of the springs pads, which indicates its a #3 spring pad.
same for #4, and NOW #5

Most people cut 3/4-1 coil in the fronts to achieve equal all around.

Sorry, I just don't want to give false information and ruin your drop
I do remember it's kind of tucked in on the rears, a driver only in the car, with 19X9.5 255s rubber for my friend's C230 and he kept the stock pads.
