2001 c240. Trying to do a simple maintenance belt change. I cannot find how to release the belt tensioner. I searched and found a write up with photo but mine does not have a 17 mm nut to catch on the tensioner. I also lookedat replacement parts to get an idea of where the bolt is, but mine does not have anything to grab onto under the pulley area??? Anyone else ??

You have the old style tensioner, you need an E10 socket. The shaft at the end on which the pulley is on is where you put it.
