Window Switch Button FAULTY
Hi
I am posting in the regular w203 forum to see if anyone has heard of, or could provide some insight into this issue i have.
While driving home today, i had my windows down for a bit and when i went to push the button to raise them..... the piece basically snapped off.. i did not pull hard,
. Anyways,... it is only the driver window switch that broke, everything else is fine... To get the window up i finally remembered the key fob trick! But now I am stumped...
*I was just wondering if it is fixable, DIYable, where can i get the part?
*On the C32 and C55AMG someone else had this issue and said it could cost several hundred $ for the switch assembly..

would it be possible for you to link me for that if you come across that listing again? Im trying to find the listings and its somewhat difficult i keep getting motors, frames, and regulators

Hope you can find something.. I would hate not to have my front windows rolled down.. As i keep them down all the time.. I need to get new sensors in my doors so i can roll them down outside the car.. They work when they feel like it.. Thats why i stopped trying to show off this feature. BOO

You can also control the windows with the recirc button on the HVAC controls. If you want to maintain use of that window till you get the switch replaced:
1. Use the remote to open everything.
2. Start car
3. Use switches to close whatever windows you don't want open
Now, to roll up the driver's window from inside the car while driving turn on the climate control and press and hold the recirc button. It will close the window. To be able to reopen the window, you have to leave the recirc on. To reopen, press and hold the recirc again. It will open.
If you close the window with recirc and then turn the recirc off (or if the car does) without holding the button, you lose the ability to reopen it.

Haha i so forgot about that button.. ITs another cool toy that closes all the windows in 1 button..
Edit just tried it oh shiet... haha i didn't know it will roll the windows back down to the same spot thats baller status..

. Lol i just got a new can so good. you are right though i would win spelling bees and stuff. I actually am not allowed to have drinks in the precinct. so in the morning i drink one as i walk in the door. and i have one in my car waiting for me when i get out. then before bed i get one just in case during the night i get thirsty lol i really need to go on the show intervention for my addiction.

But hey i did that EGG crap with the AC buttons mine just blinks and tells me the temp inside the car
it blinks 00 on the left side and on the right it blinks the inside temp.
The reason i can tell is because i put my MOUTH next to the sensor and BLEW inside haha...

Remember i work for the Geek Squad we call the geek squad area the precinct. I took a year off of college and wanted to get some job experience. They were the first place i got a call back from. About a week after two big computer corporations called and offered me internships. 
oh well i love my job which most people can't say.

Dammnn hahah sounds like me in my old computer gaming days.. haha I drank way to much soda.. Im on a huge juice thing now.. no more soda for me unless its 7 up.
