Question Squeeky seat

It started off little by little, but now my 2003 C320 really has a squeeky drivers seat - sounds like a squeeky bed - when I go over bumps, the squeeking get pretty heavy. Very annoying, so any tips on where and how to lubricate, or adjust will be very appreciated.

I just developed the same problem...not to frequent, but getting worse.

I plan on getting in/under there this weekend and checking things out. Let you know if i find any revelations.

Thanks, Greg

This has been discussed a lot and there is a fix. I'm on Oreo-my iPod touch- or I would help. Look for the thread about remedies for rattles and squeaks. The fix is as simple as lubricating a couple of brackets and it works because my car was very squeaky and is silent now.

white and whiter
get some spray lubricant and look under your seats. there are two springs (one on each side) under the seat towards the rear. it should take care of the squeak.

Thanks, that is just what I was hoping for. I knew I would need to use some spray lubricant, but was wondering what the target was... will try some spray silicone lubricant.
I am tracking down all the little noises and one-by-one getting rid of them. Nothing is perfect, but if one is willing to invest some time and effort, it can become better.
