a few questions

Hey there everyone, havent been on here for awhile.

I have a few questions that I know can be answered quickly.

I am interested in getting a set of spacers for the car but dont know a good company or what offset would be correct so that it doesnt rub but still looks aggressive. Will it effect the suspension?

What mileage is everyone getting their tranny fluid and filter replaced at?

My bushings are done in the front and wanted to know if there is a company out there that sells them.

thanks

These can be found EASILY by searching. Sorry, I know people get tired of that STFF response but sometimes it is deserved - and this is one of them. There's a thread about offsets literally every single day so it is really just a matter of scrolling down the page or possibly going to the next page.

No worries man, I fully cant stand it when these posts happen which is why I was reluctant to put it up but Ive only been looking at the M3 sites because Ive mainly focused on building and maintaining that car. I just really wanna know what a good company for spacers is and would fit my w203. Thakns if you have the input.

LILBENZ230- 1 question. How you enjoying the 135? Ive been wanting to trade in the C55 for one and have been falling in love with them. Have you done anything to the car? Vishnu tuning has a pretty sick setup for the ECU modes available

A lot of people will say "in the time it took you to tell me to search you could've just answered.." but actually it doesn't work that way. Offsets and 7G service are meaningless to me as I run stock rims and have the 5-speed. But I've seen so many posts about both. While I can't spout off the answers, I know they are all over the board.

Trade the C55 on the 135i.. you won't regret it. I don't mod my cars so its completely stock. It's dynamics are so superior to the W203 (including the C55) that it's not even fair to compare them. The 135i now comes with the DCT gearbox if that's your style, but I wouldn't have it with anything but the 6MT. I love the W203.. but if you're after having the most fun possible behind the wheel, the 135i is for you. The ECU mods are relatively cheap and easy and yield huge power if you're not afraid to risk the warranty.

thanks for understanding. ok i have heard that the H&R hub centric spacers are good but i am not the best person to ask about that. as for matt he won't mod his 135 for some reason and a c55 for a 135 that makes me sad.

any mercedes hubcentric spacers will work. I'm running genetic ebay ones without any problems.

My mpg didn't change with a filter and tranny fluid change, the shifts were just smoother.

To know the correct size spacers, we need to know your wheel and tire setup.

The 135i is pretty insane. With a couple of cheap mods it's an M3 killer.

Looks beautiful

Ive been thinking of it for awhile. I do enjoy the C55 but turbos are the way of the future and Ive been following the 135i for quite some time. I'll try to get a test drive in by the next few days to see if the smile across my face is wider. Thanks for the input

Its a small car but a small chip tune(Vishnu Tuning) and you're leaving the e92 m3 in the dust. To the link, how exactly do I choose a setup and whats a good size without rubbing the sides? Thanks

No worries, I shouldve spent more time on this forum but its been a busy year lol. Its understandable. Some cars are fun to mod but given the fuel problems the 335i had in the earlier gens I dont blame him for not tuning. Besides, im sure if the warranty is lost the parts are pricey.

My bad man, its a stock setup on the 07 car. Im running Falken 9's on it(awesome tire) and just want to get a bit of a more aggressive look to her.

As for the tranny fluid and filter, Im doing it just for a smoother ride. The car jerks because to be honest I drive it a bit aggressively since its my daily(remember I have 2 cars that fit the "enthusiast" need). So I just want this one to shift a little smoother.

I fell in love with the thing when it came out. Theyre actually working on a 135M version that will be oushing 350hp330/lb-ft tq. Its gonna be a crazy little tuner car.

Well i meant, tire size and wheel size and wheel et. Then we can give you a better idea how big of a spacer you need.
