Hey MBWorld. I have a 05 C230K. I have been on the hunt for an AMG Bumper Kit. I finally found the bumper,Fogs, and Euro Strips but the last pieces to the puzzle, DONT FIT!. These are OEM Grille meshes. The center grille in too short by about 3 1/2 inches on each side. The fog Mesh is too long by around 2-3 inches. Here the part numbers for each grille are

Center Mesh- A 203 885 13 53
Right Side Fog Mesh- A 203 885 18 53
Left Side Fog Mesh- A 203 885 17 53

Were there two different part numbers for early models with AMG bumper cover or?..

The Bumper Cover isnt OEM. There is a number located on the inside of it though.. 23 9903 if this is helpful in any way.

I dont know what to do. Any help with this would be great.

there were two different versions of the mesh/grills.

I got a spare set of grills for my car (off of a C32) and encountered the same problem as you.

Wow. I thought something may have been wrong with the Bumper Cover its self. Do you have the part number to the other versions of the mesh by chance?

i second that...there are two mesh sets...i had the same problem...your best bet is to get the number off the bumper call the dealership and they will tell you the meshes that go with it...

I appreciate those part numbers man. The only problem with calling the dealer is that the Bumper cover isnt the OEM one. Its aftermarket. I dont see any part numbers on the bumper cover either.

Could I call the dealer and read of the part numbers and match it that way?

simple answer: that's because you bought a replica AMG bumper cover.

This was talked about a while back. That the AMG replica body kits had different mesh kits. I believe someone compared there's to a real amg kit. That sucks cuss those mesh kits are $$$$$

I was gonna say this same thing. The reps have wider centers and smaller mesh areas around the fog lights.
