6mt drain an fill plug are different?

Ok, so i jack up my car for a tranny fluid change on my 02 c230 and find the plug is a really big hex socket. Go over my tools, couldn't find any hex sockets or hex keys that big, so i measure the drain plug and its a 17mm. Head to Sears, bought it come home all happy, only to find the fill plug is a different size. I STFF and find no info on the manual tranny. WHY ARE THIS GOD DAMN CARS SO COMPLICATED!!!!!!!, does somebody have the correct measurements for the fill plug?. Before i go out of my mind with this car. Thanks!

im all done , a write up with my english and no pics , would be a total F*** up, i used 75w 90 aprox 1.6qts, mobil one synthetic gear oil, bought at local strauss auto parts. I bought a socket kit for drain plugs from local Harbor freight tools $ 15.00 dollars(not sure if they are nationwide) , but make sure you use sockets and not keys , the 14mm allen key almost messed the plug up. Any more info feel free to pm me.
