C-280 4MATIC
Is this normal for OEM rubber mats?
So the other day, I traded in my 03 Acura CL-S for an 06 C-280 4MATIC (only 30k miles
). I picked up a set of those rubberized all-season mats from the dealer ($109! wtf?!@) and one of them just seems off. The front passenger mat simply does not sit right with that curve where the passenger's left foot sits, and in fact looks like it would be some cheap universal mat rather than a fitted one. Is this normal for these or did the dealer simply give me the wrong model? Like I said, all the other mats fit perfect and the packaging did say it is for C class but I mean common...$109 for a "universal" fit?
Here is a pic of the mat, am I just not placing it right or something?

Oh and this is the new toy

c320 4matic
I did that too, I have a 4-matic and i got the mats for the rear wheel drive one. The drivers side and back all fit, but the passengers side has a different shape because there's that bulge next to the center console that isn't there on the other one. I think its the front differential, but I'm not sure.

That's identical to my passenger mat (RWD).

C-280 4MATIC
Well I found the right ones online through Dealerfit. And of course, as soon as I returned the wrong ones to the dealer it started raining, and apparently will continue to rain through the weekend. Right now I have trash bags as front mats until the new ones arrive, so sad.....

I'm glad my parents bought them for the '01 they used to have. I used those in my CLK (which fit really well, actually) and not in my C.

C-280 4MATIC
I'm gonna lose my mind.... I ordered the 4MATIC mats off dealerfit.com and guess what they gave me? RWD. Called and was told once again that unfortunately MB only makes one version now. This is ridiculous, a 3 year old car already has discontinued parts?? I bet I could get some mats for a 91 Ford Taurus if I wanted to....

I'm in the same pickle as you buddy. I recently purchased a 07 c280 4Matic and when I picked up the mats, passenger side mat didn't fit. Paid $100 for them too! I could have went for WeatherTech but I wanted exact fit, and I didn't get it. I had to keep them because winter was coming and there was no way I was going without rubber mats in a newly purchased car, beige interior too. Still have the same rubber mats and the passenger one just looks ugly by not fitting around the bulge. I wonder if there is a way to cut them. Anyone tried?

I have a 2006 c280 4matic and my mats look nothing like that, they are a totally different pattern. Ill upload some pics in a few minutes to show you. Id recommend calling around to some junk yards and see if there are any in your area. While you are at it see if the junked cars have an ipod int. kit...its a long shot but something not to be looked over.
Oh!!! And make sure you do not use silicon based cleaners (can someone on the forums back me up on this) on the mats, otherwise they'll look like mine (youll see what I mean when i upload the pics).

here are the pics...notice the white haze on the mats...it happened after I got the car detailed...not sure what it is but the car detailer said it was from cleaning it with a silicon based product so now i just use water and soap.
Here are the links...i tried putting the pictures in the forum but they were HUGE.
