Flashing Lights, Weak FOB Signal, No Radio Stations -- Rear SAM faulty?

So, all this started when my fogs/taillights started flashing after I would lock or unlock my 2002 C230 Kompressor Coupe. Next, the keyless FOB signal became weak and was only working when putting the key right next to the driver door and holding down the buttons. Finally, a few days ago radio reception is gone and I will get one or two stations at the most.

I suspect the rear SAM is on it's way out. Is this a DIY or a dealer repair? I am unsure if the 2002's have to be reprogrammed by the dealer. Thanks in advance!

The one that is in the headliner at the rear glass? Your symptoms appear to match common complaints.

Thanks for the reply. Is this a DIY install or does Mercedes need to do the programming?
