My dealer gave me a 2000 Taurus for a loaner. I haven't had any of the problems you've had.

If you are having nothing else done, about 2 to 3 hours. I took mine in last Tuesday. They had to order some parts for a couple of minor warranty items, but they didn't arrive. I went out of town Thursday and got back a few hours ago. I'll call them in the morning to see if the want the Ford back as much as I want the C230 back.

When I had warranty work done they kept my car until it was completed. They had to wait for parts for the cracked button. Some dealers may hold the car until it is done just to keep the customer from repeat visits. It varies by dealer. Just make sure you tell them all the problems when you call for service and they will determine if a loaner is needed. The loaner rules vary from dealer to dealer. When I bought mine the dealer told me they only use MB loaners and that anytime service is needed I get one. They also come pick up my car and drop the loaner and then bring it back to me so I am not inconvenienced. I do not get free cookies though. Just coffee if I go in. No free wash jobs anytime I want like Buell does either. Maybe I need to move out to the Left Coast.
