Tinted Tail lights
I have a 2006 C280 and I wanted to smoke out my tail lights, I wanted to get some input on if I should go film, spray or covers and if I do go covers If anyone can give me some input on where to order from because i cant seem to fing them from anywhere

If you want them, you'll have to do it yourself. Try a search, many members have done this. You could also check the classified section, there should be some for sale on there. I got mine from the classifieds, but mine are just sprayed with two coats of NightShade, and then some clear coat.

If you spray Nightshades directly onto the attached tail lights make sure to use multiple, light, thin coats with proper drying time in between coats to get your desired tint. This stuff runs very easily when applied too thick with a single pass, then you have to start over.
Otherwise it works great, but it a PITA to completely remove. Vinyl is the only way to retain stock look if you decide to remove the tint.

dont use nightshades, i did it to perfection. it still comes out matte as hell. used all 3m stuff and meguiars polish. cost around $100 for everything and like a full weekend for the drying process. Also the hardest thing about it is the wetsanding. that is a trip.
Removal is a cinch tho. use some lacquer thinner on a rag and just wipe clean. easy on easy off.
the way i did it was to ask a local friend for some help. he custom mixed me some paint. it came out like glass and has not faded to this day. pics upon request

I would have to agree. I hear that if you use A BUNCH of nightshade then it comes out glossy, but mine is pretty matt. I don't mine, I kind of like it, but he has a point!
