Picked up my new C230K today

Picked up my new C230K today (black with charcoal leather and C1, C5 packages) and it is perfect, except those side view mirrors are really tiny -- which I really don't understand.

Tom, all you have to do is position the little buggers correctly, and they'll do their job. The size of them is a little deceptive of how well they actually work (also, since they're so small, they really heat up quickly). Unfortunately, Lynn, can't say the same thing. :p

Enjoy the car!

I agree with tommy. As I mentioned in a previous thread, I was used to mirrors that were literally twice the size of the c230's .

Swing the mirrors waaaay out. I don't think you should be able to see your door handles in the mirrors unless you lean over to the side. I pulled into a parking lot and pulled up next to a car so that it was in my blind spot. I adjusted the mirror until the car became visable. Repeat for other side .

Are the mirrors electrically heated or do they steal air heat away from the HVAC?

The mirrors are electrically heated. I thought the mirrors were kinda large. They're much larger than the ones on the late 280z.
