It was the guys step daughterss, she had the car taken away and her parents are/were selling it.
A freakin steal at $15,000. The KBB private party on the car is $19,700. I think I could sell it to carmax on the spot and get more than I paid.

kinda the same story with my crackhead sister..she started using heroine and they took away her brand new altima...well told her they were taken it away in 2 days......and she ends up totalling the car the next day.....

But it sounds like you were able to benefit from her misfortune. Be sure to check the car over carefully for maintenance issues. If she was neglecting her studies (and life), she may have neglected the car. You may want to change the oil and all chassis fluids.
In any case, you really can't go wrong at the price you paid. Congratulations on your new Mercedes!

Sorry, but back to the tailpipes... In the 3rd picture, it looks like they are drooping a bit. I know mine are very tight to the bumper. I just don't want you to have anything fall off!
