Looking to upgrade your brakes?

I need to go back to stock and the main thing I need to part with is the Brembo Red C32 Front calipers and rotors I have in exchange for your stock calipers that clear the OEM 16" wheels. I paid $500 all together for the brakes and to get them painted. Trying to break even and would like a local buyer so we can go to a shop and get them swapped. Let me know. Thanks.

I honestly dont have any type of number in my head. I wouldnt mind getting $350 + paying for the swap if I had to throw something out there.

hmmm I may be fairly interested, my works clear my stock calipers just fine with 5mm spacers, would you know this would still be the case if I were to switch to these calipers?

Did you need the spacers to clear your stock calipers? It all depends on the offset of your wheels as well because I went ahead and bought 10mm spacers for my fronts but didnt need them to clear my wheels.

I know a guy at a shop in Culver City that would most likely swap them for $100-150.

I needed the spacers to clear my coilovers, they cleared the calipers just fine. The offsets of my fronts are +32 so that should work right?

With those spacers and the +32 offset it shouldnt be a problem.

Here are some pics prior to paint and install. Then there are pics of them after paint in the link from the OP.

I have the stock brakes off of my 2002 C230 coupe. Want to buy my stockers? I already upgraded to the AMG brakes so I don't need yours.

I think I have rotors too, but I would recommend getting them turned.

I think you'll get more $$ for your brakes if they are off the car and you are not counting on some type of swap. Being a Coupe man, I'd offer you something for the brakes and rotors, but honestly, I just don't have a use for a second set.

If you don't mind getting a bit dirty, we can work in the cost of labor to change the brakes. My warehouse is in Gardena and the work could be done there.

Shoot me a pm and let me know.

Thanks Karo.

I was only able to go for a quick drive with BigBodyBenzC240 after we completed the work. I couldn't really jump on it with all the baby stuff in the wagon (stroller, backpack, Leapster, etc). The lug wrench that I put on the back floor did come sliding forward though I'll post more when I get to drive it more.
