2003 c240 4matic wagon
did a bunch of service on the c240 today
well it finally got warm enough here to do some much needed work to my 2003 c24 4matic wagon
1st
replaced fuel filter 118,000 KM and orig filter it NEEDED to be done I dumped it and banged it out on white cardboard and it was dirty very dirty gonna cut it open next week
anyways it was very easy to replace the filter took me approx 30 mins once i had it on my ramps. the clamps were a PITA i pried them sideways to release them and bought new ones from napa 3x 5/16 and 1 3/8
2 replaced thermostat and coolant VERY easy took approx 1 hour as i drained it slowly so as not to make a mess
3 replaced pass side fog light lens and bulb smased by stone around christmas again VERY easy did it when it was on the ramps for the coolant drain/flush
4 cabin air filter (in engine compartment) took 5 mins was 2 years old according to service book needed replacement...
so a good day of getting the sevice levels up to where they should be on this car
