FraKctured, I honestly love my sunroof. I tend to ride with my windows down (alot), but prefer just the sunroof for the highway. I wouldn't have gotten this car if it hadn't had the sunroof!

That's my driving style as well! Mainly because i dont like to be sweaty nor stuffed but always like to have a good amount of air circulating in the Benzo.

My Benz isn't that quiet. I'd imagine the luxury versions to be quieter, but the sport exhaust and the four-cylinder and the sport tires.. it's not that quiet of a car. I like the sunroof open.

Sunroof Exploded on mine too
I Just read your post about your sunroof explosion.
The very same thing just happened to me in My 2008 C300. I was driving from Philly to Parkersburg and had just gone about 15 miles. I was just driving. I hit no bumps or holes in the road. There were no large trucks on the road that could throw debris and suddenly I heard the same Boom that you did and had the same result. Almost no glass fell but the whole thing is shattered. I too have the 1000 dollar deductable and am right now trying to figure out what to do. I have it all taped up right now and am driving it.
