2003 c240 4matic wagon tranny service?
went to get a new key yesterday and asked about a transmission service for my c240 4matic wagon 2003
was told it needs to be done evry 60,000km cost here in canada $350.00 for the fluid and filter change
the SA got a mechanic and he said I should also have a seal replaced with an updated part while they are in there seal was $30.00 and 1/h labour what seal are they talking about I was in a hurry and did not ask
is that a reasonable price for the service? remember it is Canadian $$

the report did not specify what seal ring it is.. it just says seal ring, but u could probably find out with the part number.

not sure the mech said it had to be done when the pan was off I had the elect conector done in 07 but he said that the seal has been (factory) upgraded since then?
