Fixing some leaks....
Yesterday I decided to do a close inspection of my 2005 c230, I change the engine oil and filter... and found that one of the cam sensors have a small leakage, I read on a topic here that oil could travel through harness down to o2 sensor and ecu. I unplug the connector of the cam sensor and it has oil, but the cables of the connector are dry on the outside. So its seem im safe at the moment and in time to fix it.
1) How do i check the Ecu connector, do i need to disconect battery?
2) Where its located?
The other leak its around the transmission pan, I'm thinking to buy a dipstick to check oil level, and replace pan gasket and filter.
1) Its it good to do a DIY tranny flush at the time? Dealer quote me $25/qt. and $390 for a 8qt. flush.

You don't have to disconnect the battery...just make sure the key is off.
The ECU connector is next to the air-filter box...pull the lock sideway and then pull the connector up.
Just buy FUCHS ATF 4134 from rmeuropean.com....a lot cheaper than the stealership!
