SC Pulley upgrade Questions
Hi guys,
I want to upgrade the crank pulley to increase the boost on my m111 engine.
After researching i found that after fitting the pulley and after a fdew runs the ecu's self learn function recognises that more psi is fed through and limits the exess boost or releases it through the bypass valve.
Is this true?
If i get the pulley will it increase any power without a remap?
Thanks.

I have actually been looking at doing the same thing to my 230k, and a friend at pep boys said that the safest way to upgrade the pully without setting off any of the cars ridiculous sensors would be to only increase the boost by about 4 to 8 pounds, which should he said, be a noticable increase. Haven't tried it yet, but he works on cars pretty regularly. Sadly, most of the people I race with don't run German cars... They perfer the Japanese tuner scene. If you happen to try it, please give us an update, it would be much appreciated!

Yeah it looks like ASP racing have them.
I was just reading on another thread the other day that once you hit the higher boost in a higher RPM the cars ecu dumps the exxess boost through the Bypass valve, if thats the case then theres no point in doing the mod?
