What did you use to fabricate that ? looks like rubber.

I need to make a molded sub woofer housing and I might want to use a similar material.

Is the plastic trim really that much lighter than the factory plastic, or is that just the photo?

it is lighter then the factory. I had a choice of black, which would have been darker on the grey which is lighter. I decided on the lighter since I plan on doing some lighter leather in the car one day.

I'm planning on doing a similar setup in my car. Can you tell me what kind of room there is for a tv in there? I'm not going to be doing a flip up deck like yours, but a monitor that I want to fit the entire area. What do you think? Thanks!

BTW, the biotch looks ill as fug bro!!!! Nicely done!!

Did you make that front plate yourself? How much did it cost you to make it or get it done? I have the Same exact Monitor (CVA-1005) I also have a DVD player and Changer and was going to just sell it, but if you could point me in the right direction or help me out, I might keep it.

Great looking customization!

Good Job!!!!

There's so many things wrong with this post. a) thats an audio 30 which is cassette player which is standard/base on all US model c230kcoupes.b) i thought u were getting a CLK430 or 320 or whatever and that you were leaving the forum c) much like your request for my un-sold REnntech spoiler I dont think we can ship anything to Kuwait right now from US which again and again make me question of your where-abouts and what age (legal to drive??)

3rd:
Great job again Kman

I paid $150 for the install, it is a custom made braket. Look at your CVA, we were able to save the lower buttons but the bottom portion with the volume knob could not fit so it is mounted behind the screen and I use the remote know. I also was thinking a getting rid of it because i was sick of the flip open, this was a great solution that i am very happy with. If you want more info and dimensions let me know.

Thanks tberry for the compliment.

How much did it cost for everything? Also do your steering wheel controls still work? Where did you get it done at? Can you give me their phone number?

It looks really cool! Thanks!

this has been a project that has been going on for 3 years. I had the flip screen set up in my previous car. If I had to add it all up, the parts, install. It cost me about $3500. Right now the steering wheel controls do not work but I can have a sensor installed to make them work.

I kind of like the old setup for some reason because it preserved the original system. But either way it looks great! Can you tell me who installed the system for you? Please give me a contact number. I am very interested in having the same system for my car.

Thanks!
