RH Tail light problem
hi everyone
im having a problem regarding my right hand side tail light, how ever b4 opening the this thread i tryed and searched the forum but couldnt find anything like the problem im facing maybe im just blind
so i apologize in advance if this issue has been coverd b4, anyways today after i came back from school i realized that my right hand side (tail) city light or what ever its called, is like half burned so i took the bulb holder out and checked the bulb nothing wrong but i put a new bulb in still same thing there was no errors or any codes on my cluster so i tryed different bulbs and same thing i decided to take a closer look at my bulb holder then i felt the burn in my hand the wire/cord attacted to bulb holder was very hot so i just gave up and came on mb world to find a solution for my baby c240
i will try to upload some pictures(btw this is the first time a bulb goes out on my RH tail)

Try first cleaning the bulb holder. Turn of the lights, take bulb out and spray WD40 inside bulb holder, then put bulb back in and twist it left and right then take it out. Repeat that few times and if you can reach inside with some piece of fabric or paper towel to pick up some dirt out, if not just let it dry for 30 min. before putting bulb back and turning lights on.
