Got into an accident
Is this serious damage? The car is leased, so I would imagine that MB will do everything to get it back to tip-top shape?

Yeah Merc will get it all working back fine. More often than not, its not the dealer but an outside body shop that will do the repair. Thats what happened on mine. I'm sure you'll come out fine. Did a police officer come out? If so did the other party recieve a ticket?

Hi all. On Saturday night, this woman thought it would be a good idea to run right through her 2-way stop sign and plow into my C230. Luckily, no one was injured. I slammed on the gas when I saw she wasn't going to stop, so instead if the driver's door getting hit, my rear left quarter panel got smashed in. No damage noticable if you're sitting anywhere inthe car. Rear left axle is bent, however

Mine was leased and the body shop is part of the dea;ership, and mine actually looks as good as new, if not better as there is some additional paint work and rust protection now done under the hood, it was all pointed out when I picked up the car.
The shop will probably fix it, but your car will definitely be devalued, as a bent axle indicates that there is probably some frame damage too. My accident was almost all cosmetic (body work, little mechanical) but yours sounds like there'll be significant mechanical work too, unless you got lucky. I bent the front axle on my Camry once, and it was s simple fix, hopefully your's is too.
