Best depends on your priorities. You safest bet is to take your car to Newport Beach, CA and have Brabus put on their pulley kit, it's about $3,000 + installation but MB will stand behind your car, zero warranty issues.

But if money is an issue (after all, you could have bought a C32 if money wasn't an issue), the least expensive is the ASP pulley at $650 (or as little as $250 if you send them your factory pulley) with similar constuction to the Brabus and others. In between you have the Carlsson ($1,900), Renntech ($1,600), Vaeth ($1,200) and Kleemann ($900). All do the same thing, spin the s/c faster, provide more boost. All except the Kleemann use a factory pulley that's been modified to make it larger. Kleemann uses a solid pulley made from scratch but forgoes the controversial factory damper. I think any pulley kit you get will provide you with years of fun. In my opinion, two pulleys to avoid are the old style ASP alloy pulley (discontinued) and the Kleemann bolt on ring adapter.

The Kleemann "boost kit" is what they call their pulley. Just make sure you use their installers as their warranty is very limited otherwise.

I got the all aluminum ASP pulley. It was great and I could feel the PULLING sensation...until I saw the wobbles after a few weeks of the installation. Anyways, I've already sent in my factory pulley to ASP for almost 2 weeks. All I need to do is to wait for the pulley to send back to me, get my car back from the collision (and an accident in Jan), and get the pulley installed. If your car is lease like mine, you should get an ASP one since it's the cheapest. But if you car isn't lease and have plenty of $$$$, then you should some expensive ones such as kleeman or brabus though I don't find any significant difference in performance between them after reading all the posts in this forum.
