2002 C230
Question Lowering the C230

I am trying to lower my 2002 C230, and I am told that I had to change the insulators above the spring in the rear. They tell me to get the smallest insulator possible, but when I call the dealer, they don't know what to get. They say that it is impossible to tell thickness of the insulator by the parts manual. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions, or the part number of the rubber pad that I need to purchase.

THANKS

First of all you don't need to do that in order to lower your car. I got the H&R springs front/rear. Slapped them in and the car is lower. If you want to go to the struts too you can. Or you can go to coil overs. Either way you'll lower the car without replacing the insulators. I hope this helps. If not, let me know.
