sales figures by month part deux
i believe the c-coupé original goal was to sell 20,000 in the first year (US) and it seems to be on track for that goal (but it's close).
i pulled the following info from the sporty group and the luxury group, respectively:

Vehicle Make & Model 12/01 12/00 2001 2000
3 BMW 3-Series 8,520 9,997 97,332 89,655
6 Mercedes-Benz C-Class 5,401 4,082 51,210 34,600 (includes wagons)
32 Mercedes-Benz C Class Coupe 1,237 - 7,212 -
4 Mercedes-Benz C-Class 5,126 4,082 49,886 34,600 (not including wagons)

27 Jaguar X-Type 2.5 1,185 - 3,883 -
38 Mercedes-Benz C Class Wagon 275 - 1,324 -
for january:
Vehicle Make & Model 01/02 01/01 2002 2001
10 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan 3,199 2,345 3,199 2,345
28 Mercedes-Benz C Class Coupe 1,056 - 1,056 -
36 Mercedes-Benz C Class Wagon 279 - 279 -
5 BMW 3-Series 6,590 6,383 6,590 6,383
6 Audi A4 3,366 2,142 3,366 2,142

as for the audi, i'm not sure if those are the new models or a combination of the older & newer.
so 8268 since the coupe first went on sale... when is that exactly?
