Sell those wheels yet? If not what do you want for them? Thanks.

I'm thinking about this all wrong! Maybe I should re-drill some oem 97 Honda Civic HX wheels. Those things weigh 11lbs! lol

Lol, seriously though. Thanks for talking me down Karo.
I'm always looking out for you. Seriously, you got the Renntech ECU tune and Renntech airbox for power and you're going to get heavy rims? I mean you spent a good amount of money on these mods just hold off till the right (light) wheels come along.

It's like that joke..guy orders greasy burger and get's a diet coke. It's funny but it's true. You got the protein burger and now you're getting the extra high calorie soda (wheels)

Take your time and think about it.

I agree with Karo!! With your mods, heavy wheels would be stupid.

Although i will say, having owned 3 of the 4 wheels you listed amnd the Brabus Monoblock VI's, that the SL55 rims aren't in typical AMG fashion, they actually seem pretty light (for a stock wheel).

Again, im not just saying that because im sellling mine, becasue they sold

The first one is VOLK-RE30 and the second one is 360-CF5

Both pretty lightweight

Lol.. With all of the mods, it's only like 15+ hp total! lol. If anything I'd be @ 245 with the airbox, ecu, and exhaust. I haven't even gotten the airbox started yet

Honestly, the car feels great but the biggest differences on my car now are the sound and the Renntech trunk-badge that added 38hp. It does pull a bit but everyone I've asked says they don't feel much difference.

As for weight savings, I'm prob going to go back on a diet and try to lose 50lbs in two months like my brother (weight watchers) so I can offset heavy wheels. LMAO jk

unless you are into handling...lighter wheels makes little difference in acceleration.

reason I had the 18" BBS RE was for handling and then I took on the LM just because it's pimp. 19" LM is 4lbs heavier per wheel vs the RE. acceleration can't feel that much difference, but the handling do suffer.

AMG wheels in general are heavy btw, but your stocks are heavy also...lol

That's because Frank is a baller and that's just the way he rolls... Casino buffets and all.
Hanging out with him is awesome. "Velvet ropes will part and Champagne falls from the heavens." (+1 pt for anyone who calls the quote).

I'm surprised no one has mentioned multi piece wheels for better handling too. LOL.

Yah factory wheels and amg wheels are fairly heavy. The addition 1 inch won't add too much weight and shouldn't hamper things too much.

For now I'm keeping it factory. Mike (Quad) was right about me when he called me out and cursed me.

My Brabus reps are heavy as hell, but they look awesome and the car still performs about the same as before. It depends how you're using the car. Unsprung weight will be noticed nearing the car's limits, not to work and back (again, depending where your job is )

That's because you only reduced 64 lbs and your car is fast as it is so you won't feel it but talk about 38lbs wheels and then 20lbs that's 288 lbs reduction and on a car that not that fast you'll feel a difference.
