DIFF RATIOS for OZ spec C180K Coupe and sedan
Does anyone know definitively if the diff ratio is different for the C180K Coupe and C180K sedan, as I have been driving a C180K sedan loaner for 17 days and it seems very spritely off the line etc compared to my C180K Coupe. The service manager says they are different which I find hard to believe and claims this may be the reason for my perceived sluggishness off the line. Mind you the service manager I am dealing with seems to be full of crap and tries to palm issues off which he cannot deal with (ie I have a surging issue also which today when I picked up my car he said he could not find yet after a quick drive I could replicate it at will !)

so the sedan has better low end but the coupe has better top end correct? i've done gear ratio swap on my 97 Cougar and made a big difference. Labor and part on that was about $800 sor for a Merc what is that x3? x4?

Yes having driven the two back to back the sedan is alot more spritley off the line, whereas the coupe feels like it isn't really moving until 3.5k rpm in first (auto)
