i was looking for a set of new xenon bulbs. one of them went out and the dealer installed a new one but it didnt match the other. went to ebay...found some...5900k for the fogs, head lights and high beams..for like 35 shipped. i got them friday. i was looking at them and well they are not the right ones. i need D2R-35W Xenon Low Beam. so if you have xenon head lights then DO NOT buy from ebay. they say there for xenon but if you read the fine print it says (will not work with fac xenon) there look alikes. wtf

 

always replace hid bubls in pairs you have bix right? if so you want d2s not r

 

it will work for xenon but will not work for bi-xenon... there is a difference there...

 

to be accurate, reflector based HID headlights require D2R bulbs. projector
based HID headlights require D2S bulbs. this isn't necessarily the fault of
Ebay/seller for the mismatch.

 

no its my fault for not reading all the details first befor bidding. i just order D2R (pair).
now what to do with the ebay stuff....could i still use the fogs 9006 ?

 

other than the bix... both the clear and the foggy lense need H7 or H11 cant remember
