Bay Area ASP Pully Group buy/install

I don't want to give up my stock pulley, nor do I want to explain to the local benz dealer why I'm buying a new pulley, so
I might be up for it, if we can get a deal on the complete pulley.
This seems like the best bang for the buck.
So, see what you can do, pricewize on the complete pulley.
20FHK02, if we did do something like this, maybe you'd be available for a tech/ install session of sorts?
I have an electric impact if that helps.
The only thing I'd wonder about is getting it to 220 ft lbs. of torque.
Do they make wrenches that go that high?

Yes, ASP will sell you a complete pulley, yes torque wrenches go that high (check Sears or Osh for a Craftsman) because Linh has one and no, don't use a impact wrench, do all torquing by hand.
If you are worried about going to your dealer for a pulley just order it from one of the online dealers like autoclass.net or clair or a distant dealer that discounts like Jeff at Hoehn Motors in Carlsbad. Imagine how they must feel about me ordering 2.

I use a regular socket extension with a long pipe extension and that puts more than 220 ft-lb of torque. As my car was screwed up by an earlier version pulley, I'd wait a bit longer before getting the hands on the new one.
But you guys DO go get the pulley because I want to see it in person!

I think it's a good idea to keep the harmonic dampener.
Anyone install this type yet?
And pics have been posted somewhere.

I know Linh has had his for a while, one of the first. Mine is in transit, shipped last Thursday so I should have it tomorrow. You know me, I'll have pictures up pretty quick. I'm eager to get it back on, I truly miss the power. I'll have to order the ASP crank pulley for my new Chevy S10, it needs all the help it can get....

I'm hoping this is "the one". I'm itchin' for it, like a man
on a desert island with nothing but coconuts to keep him company.
The only thing I wonder is, oh god, dare I say,
is I wonder if by enlarging the pulley if changes the frequencies of the vibrations to be dampened, and does the pulley as stock have the right frequency dampener to absorb frquencies that wouldn't be there without the larger ring attached (ie pressed and welded).
Geez, hope I didn't just open a can of worms.

If it does then everyone's in the same boat but I don't think so because the vibrations come from the crankshaft and the damper is tuned for those vibrations not pulley vibrations. Besides, ASP has taken extra steps to minimize any weight gains from the ring and their lastest pulley is 2 lbs. lighter than the previous one (from last month). I'll take pics when I get it, hopefully today or tomorrow. From what I've been told they drilled holes in the ring like on the Kleemann alloy pulley which probably explains the price increase from $200 to $250.
