Hey all, I had a couple of questions. I have been for the last 10 years a total "japanese import tuner". I was planning to stay that way until i came across my 2003 c230 kompressor coupe. Even driving it home i promised my girl "i wont be modding this"! But, i have reconsidered after driving it and the dirty looks are flying everytime i climb on the comp looking things up for the car. LMAO! the questions i have are fairly basic, but im starting from square one. I have read through most of the threads on here, Im confused what is the W203? and what is my car? I am guessing i need to know before anything is done. Also if anyone could throw some links in for me. Stupid questions i know, but i have to start somewhere. I need to change my user name, this is the one i use, but it just dont fit here!! lol......thanks and great looking forum, cant wait to talk to all of you in the future!

The W203 is the internal designation MB uses for the C-class. It helps to identify a range of years in the model. The older body style of the C-class carries a different W#.

Next, note that you have a different motor then the 2002 C230 Sport Coupe. Your motor is the M271 1.8 liter engine. You'll see many posts with information on the motor. At this time, I do not think that there are many modifications for this engine. You'll be able to get two choices of intercoolers and I think two choices of pulley upgrades and a good selection of exhaust options for now.
Suspension and trim are out there though. A good list of links to MB tuners and other resources is here https://mbworld.org/links/home.html.
