Pulleys for HorsePower
I run a M111 E20 ML Engine and i changed my crankshaft pulley to a larger one. My SC is the one without clutch so i wanna replace that pulley with a smaller. is there any available ?

I've heard of one person back in 2001 that replaced their s/c pulley on a 2002 C230, but that was a custom one of, haven't heard of anyone doing that since. But consider that with a proper crank pulley from a leading pulley company, you maxed out what that s/c can do. Spinning it faster doesn't yield better results, I know, I ran plenty of dynos and the owner of the dyno had a crank pulley so large, it needed a larger idler pulley to push the belt away so it wouldn't rub against the water pump pulley. So he spun his s/c faster, but it yielded the same results. There's a point where spinning an s/c faster takes more HP than the extra boost generates.

it'll probably easier if you just take your pulley to a machine shop and just machine it down a bit. It should give you a little extra power for virtually free.

btw, i always wanted to ask, is my supercharger's base changable ? i mean if i want to replace my sc with another one, the base that sits in must change as well. or isnt it that simple ?
