Gas gauge not working
SO i was driving yestreday and the needle went down. WHen i start the car the light for the low fuel goes on and off (on the gauge) but the needle fails to move up...its pointing at 0...
checked the fuse list and it seems there is not one specific for it.
Everything else on the display is working properly.
Any ideas? all are welcome!

I don't believe it is your instrument cluster (fuel level gauge) that is the problem. I have a feeling it might be a Fuel Level Sensor.
Mercedes has a special notice (which means this is a known common problem) when a gas tank is filled full it only shoes 3/4. I have attached this document and how to change the Fuel Level Sensor.
When you get a chance fill up your gas tank (full) and see if your gauge goes up. If it does then we have solved the problem if it doesn't then we might need to explore more. But I have a strong feeling the problem that I suggested is the real problem.

I've had the same problem a couple of times. What karo says is correct. For me i just filled up and the problem was fixed but for others the sending unit needed replacing. good luck

Some Argentina Soccer Humor.
During the 2010 World Cup game Maradona (Argentina's coach) was wearing 2 cheap (rubber/plastic) watches. He has a tradition where he wears 2 which 1 is current time and the other is Argentina's time. During a charity event in Italy (time ago) he was wearing 2 Rolex watches. The government seized them because of back taxes (he use to play for Italy). Since this time in South Africa he had 2 cheap watches people were suggesting maybe back taxes in South Africa??

Great games! Germany as phenomenal! we'll see what Italy has got to offer in a few!
BTW. filled up the gauge is showing full...we'll see what happens when the level goes closer to last 1/4!
