Replacement Knob for COMAND/NAV system
Does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement volume knob for a COMAND/NAV system? I have 2002 C240. Also does anyone know how to remove the knobs?

I did it when I did my Comand retrofit. The only real problem is that you have to get the knob from Germany, as they don't stock them with US dealers (because you have to take the Comand unit apart, I guess). You can order it from Audiocomp ( www.audiocomp.de ) in Germany. What I did was just emailed them and told them what I needed. I used google's translator for my first email just in case, but English was just fine. They are not really set up for international sales, but they can accept PayPal. Be prepared to pay more for postage than you do for two knobs, but hey, it looks so much better and in the scheme of things it isn't that much money.
