According to the two dealers I talked with here in AZ, yes...it voids the warranty on the shock/spring assembly and anything to do with the suspension associated with that part you modifed.

It is quite dependant on the dealer. Right, it will void the warantee on the springs and shocks, but it should not void anything else.
It's amazing that some dealers will do warantee work on somebody that put on 21" chrome wheels, which really put increased wear on the suspension, but are afraid to put a K&N filter on.
A good ftermarket supplier should take over that portion of the warantee.

I have taken my car to 2 different dealers where they perform work on various minor warranty issues. They have not told me anything about it being lowered. Just that it looks nice. I think that there should not be any problems with your warranty. I even had them give my car an alignment, lowered with 18" and I had no problems. They put a camber kit on my car and told me that for some odd reason my car didnt come with it under warranty.
