In all honesty i wouldnt change the front bumper on your coupe.. why you might ask? simple you can add the brabus front lip (if you can find one) and because there is no front lips for the 05 coupe unless you go custom like i am

Yeah I was really looking towards getting a 3 slat grill and I'm thinking of covering it in cf vinyl like I might do my lorinser wing. I was planning on black, but cf would be unique (hopefully)

And I was preparing to go the route of the brabus lip but last so that I can get everything out of the way before my first scrape (and first time I cry in years)

Let's just say the speedometer doesn't exist when I'm almost late to work (happens often)
I always surprise myself when I turn a 15 minute drive into 5 lol

That is very very true. Had to get my lorinser wing all the way from new york.
The mattig grill I don't even know where I can find, but I need to redo this interior. And in the meantime I can get back the money I spent so far haha

Does the k and n filter do much of a difference? And where is the filter box for the intake anyways?

Only way to get a mattig grill is if its getting parted by another coupe. I know G (Hieracity) found a replica on Ebay I installed it for him but had to do some modifications to make it fit

Its not a major gain but you do feel the difference

Location of air filter (pics by chkdg8)

Original filter on the left K&N on the right

i cleaned my K&N a couple weeks ago and can really feel it "breathe" more easily.. but probably negligible power gains. i think it makes a difference since the supercharge does suck in air.. and at higher rpm's the extra air flow could help

Unfortunately I'm going to have to get the one off ebay. How difficult were the modifications?
Thank you for the pictures I'm looking at my engine now haha

one thing i noticed about the K&N is the sound of the exhaust when you punch it. it sounds better and then when i hit 4000 rpm it changes pitch to a nice high flow kinda sound, makes me wanna gun it a lot lol how often are you supposed to clean them?

car is looking good jre

i tried some searching on youtube and couldn't find anyone actually showing the removal and replacement of the air filter, but this might give you a better insight on where it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSkkJ_agbUQ

I'm not too sure but I'm pretty sure that is the supercharger intake

Thats weird.. The 1.8 is the M271 engine same as I have (which will be the filter in the pic above). unless you have the 2.3 M111 engine.

Holy overkill, Batman! Every other year is what I plan to do, but even that I think is a bit excessive.

Yeah I'm taking a bunch of pictures at your request haha. Mostly of my new speakers and my conversion from stock to aftermarket with the original plastic covers and bucket. Very happy that I was finally able to figure out a new design for the rear

i guess it depends on how much you drive it. i've had my car since the end of last June, so about 10 months, and i've put 23K on it. Once a year is probably good for that many miles
