W203 LED Foglight Project [IN PROGRESS]
Topic isn't fully completed yet, I need to add more pictures so you can see how I did it in detail So, more images to come!!!
Soooo, I hit up Autozone and bought two sets if this 8" LED strip sets
for maybe $35 total (both LED sets and toggle switch)
And I cut one strip down to 2" and I left the other one at the 8" it already was.
I covered up the original fog lights with electrical tape, so it blends in. (because my driver's foglight has no connection to it :/ )
I then glued the pieces together to make the 60 degree "L" for the fog lights, and ran the wire through the bumper and glued it down to the foglight.
I then connected both sides together to a toggle switch (plain on/off switch) so I could turn them on and off
It's not completed yet, I still need to move the switch into the interior, otherwise, I have to "finger" my grill and turn the switch on.
Which can get annoying...
But the sorta' final product looks like this in the daytime:
Not too well night time pics, ignore the date lol
Tell me what you think!

It's not perfect yet, lmao. Buttt, I think it's mostly meant for night-time styling. It matches pretty nice with my 8k Xenons. Better than buying the OEM parts for $300 like Jcnash intended to.. :P

I agree, I admire the effort.. but LED aftermarket stuff is bound to look tacky. The LED strips that are designed in with these new cars are very well integrated.. they're never going to look right on old cars. Get your original fogs fixed.

After the 3rd and 4th day... It's not that great, lmao.
I'll let the audi **** keep their style to themselves
Next time I hit up the dealer, I'll tell them to fix my fogs. Then after I fix my fogs, I'll get 8k's on 'em
No more of that "ghetto fix" stuff that looks cheap. I always wanted my car to have that "stock" or "plain" look, not nothing too flashy
