They're both nice wheels... can't go wrong either way... but the Maya one is a lot more common since their pretty much Lowenhart LT6's... I'd go with the iForged but like I said can't go wrong either way... depending on the size you get and the offset, they'll both have very nice lips... what size you plan on running?

The Iforged LOOK like HRE's so that is cool. But I really like the Maya TTS. I was deliberating between both the TTS and the DTM's when I was buying my wheels. What I know is definate is that the Maya's are a bargain. Approx. $3200 for staggered CHROME 18 inch 3 PIECE w/tires, you can't go wrong! Well except for the fact if you will do the C32 brake upgrade you will definately need spacers-I hate spacers.

Really darn!! And I thought I got a good deal!! I previously had paid $2800 for Dazz Matiz 18 inch 3 piece NON chrome. So I figured $3200 was a bargain for chrome. I was about to post to see if you can put up pics of your car.

Lightbulb Neither..

While IForged are unbelievable wheels.. They are more overpriced then HRE's and HRE's are custom and better quality. I have owned both. Iforged Senekas and HRE 540's (Same look as the senekas) the HRE's held up better... Deffinatly go with HRE's.. talk to Pete from www.wheelexperts.com he will give you the lowdown.

Guys,

I think im going for 19*8 and 19*9 or 19*8.5 and 19*9.5
If i use Iforged my car will most/likely look like this: (pics taken from wheelexperts.com and they're using HRE549 which is almost identical to Iforged retro)

I'll probably go with maya,..Are mayas built by lowenhart? TTS almost look identical to LT6 except the rivots' hole are different and Lt6 doesn't have 19", they only come in 24".

Jo17Jc320: Where do you get your MAYA from?

thanks

oh you got chrome though so ya that'll bring the price up a lil... mine only comes in hyperblack, I went with the STM's... try to post pics soon, don't have a digicam yet... but the cars pretty low with the 19's... it's about the same drop as that mercedes above with the Maya TTS...

Hyper black is cool. Saw them on a M3-very tight. Do U know if we can swap out the center cap? Also what shop did U get your wheels at? I got mine @ F1, they gave me the same tires like yours. Last one, do U have coilovers or springs?

You looking to swap out the caps for mercedes ones? the caps pop right out, you just need to take out the wheel and push it out from the inside... I have a buddy that works at Wholesale Hyperformance so he hooked it up wih the wheels and coilovers... I have H&R coilovers... wanna do the C32 brake upgrade... did you have to use a spacer when you did your's?

I recommend the C32 brake upgrade. My braking has honestly been so much better than when I had my stocks. I noticed the difference when I drove an acquaintance C240 last week. The thing that I don't like(which I said earlier) is that they had to use spacers. Depending on the speed (and sometimes road), you will experience slight(but noticeable)vibration. Maybe they make a "better" spacer that would not let it vibrate as much, I would like to know. But either way, I would not go back to stock brakes. You get used to it after a while and on top of that the looks are killer for the CHEAP price that you pay for this upgrade. Are you going to Evosport?

Where'd you have the brake upgrade done?

What kind of spacers are you running? are they hubcentric spacers? If they're not hubcentric then that is what is causing the vibration... how big are the spacers they used?

hehe. I don't know what kind of spacers they used. I didn't bother asking now that I think of it. I just was excited and drove of to test my brakes. I will call and find out. You are probably right about the hubcentric spacer issue though. I had my work done at Evosport. Bunch of pros. Easy to deal with and had my work done quickly w/no delays. Btw do you have the SEDAN C230 or the COUPE?
